9 Day Navrathri at Paramara Temple

This year, Paramara Devi Temple will be celebrating Navrathri from October 7th-15th. Durgastami (Poojaviyppu) is on 13th October evening, on and until Sunset.

Vijayadesami (Poojaeduppu) will be held on 15th Oct before 8:25 AM. The celebration includes 9 nights of worship and devotion to the different aspects of Adiparasakthi. First 3 days for Sree Parvathi; next 3 days for Sree Lakshmi; final day is Saraswathy (Goddess of learning).

Paramara temple has arranged Navratri Mandapam (Open Stage) for talented people who wish to perform at the temple. Vijayadashami also celebrates Vidyarambham, which means new learning in Sanskrit! All arrangements are made during Navratri festival for this grand occasion where people celebrate with great enthusiasm to express what they’ve learned or mastered over this time frame
